Easy One Ingredient Camping Pancakes!

If you are looking for an easy way to make pancakes while camping, you must see what we have discovered! We have figured out how to make super easy pancakes without mixing or special ingredients. This might be the easiest one-ingredient camping pancake recipe we have come up with.

Our favorite part of camping has to be the food. We love planning what meals we will make while we camp. We love to cook outdoors, from our Hobo Eggs to our Dutch Oven Nachos. It’s definitely the best part of every trip.

We usually bring both the griddle and the dutch oven, but these pancakes can be made with an electric burner and a pan too.

Sweet Biscuit Pancakes

For these easy camping pancakes, you only need to bring your griddle and some sweet rolls. These can be found in the grocery store where the cinnamon rolls are.

When I bring sweet rolls camping, I put them in a ziplock bag before I pack them in the cooler. This keeps the melting ice from making the outside of the package deteriorate.

How To Make:

First, decide whether you will use a griddle, a dutch oven, or an electric burner with a pan. Next, get the griddle warm. Then you spray your griddle with cooking spray to keep the biscuits from sticking and place them on the cooking surface. My favorite part of this process is the “squish” part. You take your spatula and squish the biscuits down.

Let them cook until they are brown, and flip to the other side. When the second side is brown, we put the icing on top, let it melt, and then serve. This is the BEST and easiest camping pancakes we have found so far. No mixing, no flour…no extra ingredients.

Cinnamon Roll Pancakes

Just like with the sweet rolls, you can make cinnamon roll pancakes, too.

Cinnamon roll pancakes are made the same way we make sweet roll pancakes. If you like cinnamon rolls, I would highly recommend these! They are so good!. I would transport them in a ziplock bag just like I do the sweet rolls to keep the package from breaking down in the cooler.

They are just as easy. Just put them on your cook surface, squish, and cook until they are brown and done. You can use the cinnamon roll icing or pancake syrup to top them before serving. I promise your kids will love this breakfast.

Regular Biscuit Pancakes

If you decide to use regular biscuits for your easy cinnamon rolls, you make them the same way as the others but use pancake syrup for your topping.

These pancakes are not only delicious but so much easier than dragging all the traditional pancake ingredients with you when you camp. We hope you enjoy them as much as we do! Happy Camping!
