We love to camp, but we also love to listen to music. We always have our camping radio with us, and we are always playing a campfire playlist. I feel like music playing in the background when you are camping is just part of the experience. Our kids love to listen to our music too.
On one trip, my oldest and my husband played old country songs to quiz me and see how many I would recognize. (I passed by the way) Finding the right music can be hard sometimes, so we wanted to share what we consider the best campfire playlist and where you can listen to it on your next family camping trip.
While camping by the campfire, cook a steak or some beef stew in the Dutch oven. Good comfort food and music go hand in hand.

My favorite part of sitting around a campfire listening to old country music is when my 13 year old picks up his guitar and starts playing along. There’s nothing better than listening to your children playing a musical instrument, but there is also nothing better than picking the guitar around the campfire. We hope sharing our playlists will inspire you and your family to try some of these songs on your next camping trip.
