Since we started our very own pop-up camper remodel, I have found myself looking at what others have done. Going in a small camper is not exactly what my family is used to so we are constantly having to find storage ideas. I seem to turn to small pop-up camper remodels for inspiration in this category.
We originally had a travel trailer, swapped it for a fifth wheel, then went to a tent and now we are back to a pop-up. If you have read any of my remodel posts, you will know that the pop-up is our favorite. We have figured out that the open concept design we chose works so well for our family of 4 and makes storage in our popup so much better!
If you want to see where some of our inspiration came from, I have added 7 remodels that I have on my inspiration board.
1. Tina the Tiny Pop-Up
This beautiful pop-up camper remodel was featured on The Pop Up Princess. The owner got it from her sister and decided to remodel it. She changed the dinette by turning it into a bench. She painted, added new floors, and had to fix a roof leak.
We like how she not only painted the outside but also added a mural after she named her camper Tina. You can see the entire remodel here.
2. 1998 Damon Camplite SL
We love what the @the.happy.glamper did to their remodeled Damon Camplite SL. They painted the cabinets, replaced the floors, reupholstered the cushions, and redid the curtains! It looks amazing. If you want to see more of their remodel, head over to Instagram and follow them!
3. Open and Airy Popup Remodel
I personally love the open feel you get from this pop-up remodel we found @thelovelyhomestead. The white paint and white curtains are similar to what we chose for our own remodel. They put in new floors and updated the fabrics inside this remodel to make it look amazing! Her profile is a must-see for inspiration.
4. Colorful Inspiration
If you love patterns, color, and design, this remodel is a must-see. Go check out @poppin_up_pretty for ultimate inspiration. I added this to my design inspiration drawing board for our next remodel project. We plan on finding another pop-up to flip (not to keep) next time. We loved the remodeling process so much that we want to do it again.
5. A Pop Of Color
We love what @kpphotographyne did to the inside of her popup camper. The colors she used are stunning. Check out her profile for more pictures of the camper.
6. Breezy Blue Remodel
The @thepopupprincess is a must-see resource for all things popup remodel. She featured this pop-up remodel from a reader of hers and we were drawn to the blues for inspiration. These curtains are beautiful and really pop against the white canvas.

We really hope you are able to get some ideas from these pictures. When we started our remodel process, I scrolled through Pinterest and Instagram over and over looking for ideas. I changed my mind so many times. It’s nice to be able to see what other people have done and then make your own way. We had ideas when we started but water damage ended up changing everything into an open concept camper and we absolutely love it.
